Jesus Christ gave this command to his disciples: Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19). The Sacrament of Baptism is the gateway to life in the Catholic Church. We are looking to raise funds for a new baptismal font. A new font would be a great way to begin the baptismal calling of the future disciples of Jesus Christ for generations to come in our parish, including our children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren! 

Full-immersion fonts are great aesthetically and theologically, but can be quite expensive to make and maintain, and they can require a lot of upkeep. The current font is original to the church and is experiencing some mechanical and aesthetic issues. The goal is to replace the current font with one that complements the contemporary design of the church, is both practical and financially prudent, and can be used for many years to come. There are some preliminary designs pictured below. Being part of We Give Catholic makes this fundraising opportunity a response of gratitude for our own baptism and what God has done in our lives. Funds would go towards the fabrication of the font, shipping, and installation.
