Who We Are

In the Franciscan spirit of valuing the gift of life in all its transitions, our mission is to provide an environment of compassion, competence and the celebration of life to all entrusted to this community of care. The Village at Marymount, sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Third Order of St. Francis, offers a continuing care community located on the Marymount Intergenerational Campus, 5200 Marymount Village Drive in Garfield Heights.

The Village is composed of Marymount Place, a three-story Dutch colonial with 104 suites, offering assisted living services; Villa St. Joseph, which opened in 2007 and has 142 suites offering skilled and intermediate nursing care, short-term rehabilitation; Memory Care neighborhoods; and Clare Hall providing hospice and palliative care; and skilled and intermediate nursing care to members of the congregation and the community.

Help Our Staff On Giving Tuesday, November 30

The Village at Marymount's award-winning staff continues to battle the impact of the COVID pandemic while tirelessly caring for our residents. On November 30, we need your help to take care of our staff. The Village at Marymount's Employee Care Fund assists employees facing a financial hardship or emergency situation. Assistance exists to help employees when no other financial resources are available to help cover their expenses. The Employee Care Fund provides resources to cover such basic needs as rent, electricity, heat, natural gas, and water services; food; or assistance if a home is damaged or destroyed. 

During the year, staff fund-raisers help to replenish the Employee Care Fund. Despite the fund-raising efforts of staff, additional support is needed to replenish these funds. Please help us to take care of our staff so that they can continue to assist the residents who need their assistance. Give generously so that we can continue our Mission, and that of our sponsors, the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Third Order of St. Francis.
