Who We Are

Founded in 1850, Beaumont School is proudly celebrating 175 years of educating women for life, leadership, and service. As an all-girls Catholic high school in the Ursuline tradition, Beaumont inspires young women to grow in faith, intellect, and compassion. An International Baccalaureate World School, Beaumont offers a dynamic college preparatory, liberal arts education that inspires the best of all students. Our culturally diverse learning environment encourages every student to develop the qualities she needs to thrive personally, spiritually, and professionally in an evolving global society. Beaumont was built on the values of St. Angela Merici, who believed that education is a sacred journey, one that requires spirituality and service to others. These values are very much alive at Beaumont today. St. Angela said, “Build community wherever you go.” And we do. 

 Through Campus Ministry, all students are invited to actively participate in faith, service, and leadership experiences throughout their four years. These include: Liturgical Ministries, “Serviam” – I serve – yearly service hours, COR Team – Campus Ministry Leadership, Class Retreats, Kairos Retreats, Fifth Counsel Service Trips, and the B Just Peace and Justice Club. Beaumont traditions include Christmas on Campus, hosting primary students from Urban Community School, our Thanksgiving Food Drive in support of St. Aloysius and Heights area neighborhood partners, and recurring service opportunities at the Greater Cleveland Food Bank and House of Champions.

 Beaumont girls are compassionate change-makers, courageous advocates, and without a doubt, the leaders of tomorrow. At Beaumont School, young women learn to change the world.
