Catholic Charities Geauga County

Catholic Charities of Geauga County provides Emergency Assistance to residents of Geauga County with rent, utilities, and other significant needs such as transportation and food expenses.  The needs are greater now because of the pandemic. An extended illness and loss of income can create a snowball effect of having to make an impossible decision of keeping a roof over your head, putting food on the table, or keeping the electricity and heat on.

In this past year, we were able to assist 30 families who found themselves in need of a helping hand.  Partnering with other agencies in Geauga County, we were able to help 14 families with rent, 6 families with heat and other utilities, and 4 families avoid an electric disconnection.

The need is great and no donation is too small.  Won’t you join us in carrying forth the Catholic Charities mission to provide help and create hope for all people, regardless of their religion, race, identity, or beliefs?
