Catholic Charities of Lorain County serves adults, children, and families by providing clinical mental health, alcohol and drug treatment services, and prevention services to individuals residing in Lorain County.  We assist our clients in their schools, homes, and in the community by finding housing, educating them about resources, providing food when they encounter food insufficiency, and in managing their mental health and/or substance use disorder in order to be as independent as possible within the county.  In the past year, Catholic Charities has relocated to the St. Vincent de Paul Parish in Elyria, OH related to our programs growing and expanding to serve more families and individuals in the community.  We would like to devote our We Give Catholic Campaign this year towards the redevelopment of the St. Vincent de Paul playground project to create a safe and inclusive play area for the community that is built for children with disabilities in mind.   It is our goal to raise a minimum of $1500 to be used to help fund our playground project where children with disabilities will feel included by their abilities and not excluded by their disabilities.  Please consider a gift Tuesday, December 3rd!

Contributions received will be towards the redevelopment of the St. Vincent de Paul playground in 2025.
