Catholic Charities Migration and Refugee Services

As the largest resettlement office in Northern Ohio, Catholic Charities, Migration & Refugee Services resettles over 520 refugees each year in the greater Cleveland area.  We welcome the stranger by helping those displaced by war, violence and persecution build new lives starting with a safe place to live and including basic necessities.  

We respect the dignity of each person and provide a supportive environment where each individual and culture is celebrated.  Building upon the courage and strength of these newcomers, we seek to empower them to achieve self-sufficiency and independence by offering a variety of supportive programs and services.

We are hoping you can assist us this Giving Tuesday with our #WeGiveCatholic campaign, which will help provide the basic day-to-day living necessities that many of us take for granted such as toiletries, cleaning supplies and simple household items.  Each year, we provide thousands of these goods to help refugee families in their first few months of life in the United States.  

No donation is too small and collectively, all donations will help refugees make their living space into a warm, clean home such as:  soap, shampoo, body lotion. toothpaste, deodorant, toilet paper, laundry detergency, cleaning products, mops & buckets, brooms & dust pans, drying racks, irons, warm blankets, stock pots and various kitchen appliances.  

Contributions received will be used to provide families with these basic goods in 2025.
