Giving Tuesday is Tuesday, December 3! We are raising $22,500 for the purchase of new hymnals and supplementary materials as well as other music ministry needs of Gather—Fourth Edition offers all of the features we have come to expect from the Gather family of hymnals, then takes them to the next level. This new edition is more diverse, more inclusive, more representative, and more balanced than any other GIA hymnal. Gather, Fourth Edition includes a variety of music not previously contained in many American hymnals. Global music from Afro-Caribbean and Latino traditions, newly written hymns by women authors and composers, and selections from contemporary sources stand alongside music we have come to know and love for years from composers such as Marty Haugen, Tony Alonso, and the Saint Louis Jesuits. This is an exciting time for us as a parish to grow musically and spiritually and to be nourished and inspired by music that we will come to cherish for decades.
