Who we are:

The First Friday Club of Greater Akron (FFCGA) was founded in Akron, Ohio, in August, 1999.  Its purpose is to bring the best Catholic thinkers, teachers, and leaders to Akron on a monthly basis to promote a better understanding of significant issues impacting church, family, work, and community life.

Where we meet:     Our Lady of the Cedars Catholic Church507 S Cleveland Massillon Rd, Fairlawn, OH  44333, doors open at 11:00 AM,  lunch served at 11:15  and the Speaker starts at Noon.

Why You Should Give to the First Friday Club of Greater Akron

We are an all volunteer organization yet we still need money to bring the best Catholic thinkers, teachers, and leaders to Akron for our monthly luncheons. Money raised during the #weGIVECATHOLIC fundraiser will be used to help us cover the cost of important, but mundane things such as coving the meals of our guests, our mailings, phone bills, our website, rent, and our PO Box.
