7th and 8th Grade Class Trip to Washington D.C.

Here at Mary Queen of Peace School we aim to provide our students with opportunities to enrich the learning process.  Years ago we used to offer an amazing trip to Washington D.C. where students could visit a multitude of memorials, monuments and museums that help to express the history of our nation.  They will spend time understanding sacrifices made by Americans at Gettysburg and Arlington National Cemetery.  They will  be surrounded by history rather than just reading about it in a textbook.  A major roadblock on our path of bringing this opportunity back to Mary Queen of Peace is the cost of the trip.

Our goal is to fundraise enough money to lower the cost for families down to between $200 and $300 per student.  This means that we need to raise between $15,000 and $20,000 every two years to offset the cost of this trip.  We believe this trip is important, will have a massive impact on our students and is worth every bit of effort to make this attainable for them.

Thank you for your consideration in supporting this goal, please keep in mind that no donation is to small.

Thank you and God bless you!
