Santa's Visit at Our Lady of Lourdes ShrineSanta's Visit
These stpes need repair!Steps

In 2023, a few weeks before Thanksgiving, Santa came to Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine to thank the Lord for all His gifts.  On his way to light his candles at the grotto, he noticed that the steps leading to the candle house were in BAD shape.  Santa sighed, looked at the Blessed Mother and said,  "Mama, next year at this time, these steps and the surrounding area will be fixed! I promise!"  Please help Santa keep his promise! Any donation amount you can give is greatly appreciated!

Our Story

We begin our 2023 story with the sad news of the passing of Sister Mary Donald. Perhaps you remember her as the driving force of our WeGIVECATHOLIC campaign. As a Trinitarian community member, when we die, the rest of the members continue our legacy of good work. WeGIVECATHOLIC was very close to Sister Donald's heart. We need your support to help us fulfill her dreams for our Shrine and community.

Let us listen to Sister Mary Donald welcoming you to our Shrine!

Our Projects

This year, in addition to our pipe project, we would like to replace and repair the steps and surrounding area in front of the candle house.  One of our priorities is the safety of all pilgrims who come and visit the Shrine.  We wish to ensure the integrity of the steps and the surrounding area.  We need your help!  In memory of Sr. Mary Donald, please join our campaign and help us reach our goal of $72,000.00 towards the repair of the steps and our dry pipes.  This goal is just a portion of what is needed to fix various areas here at Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine.  Yet, One Step at a Time! Any amount you contribute will make a huge impact on our mission here. The Shrine is approaching one hundred years old and like any mature lady, some repairs and replacements are always required.

All We Want for Christmas Is New Steps and Pipes!

We, the Sisters of the Most Holy Trinity, need you to tell your friends and family members about how much our Blessed Mother loves us, each and everyone of her children.  Ask them to join us in making the Shrine a prayerful and safe oasis for all pilgrims  for years to come and to make our convent (living spaces) more functional.

Finally, we want to invite you.  Come and visit our Shrine and pray with our Blessed Mother!  Come and place your needs at her feet and she will present them to her Son.  Come and spend some quiet time with her!  Come and receive the peace that the world cannot give! Come and give thanks for all that God has done in your life!

We are grateful for your ongoing support and generosity! Please be assured of our prayers for you and your family.  May the Lord bless you abundantly!

Who We Are

The Shrine is a replica of the Grotto in Lourdes, France. Incorporated into the Grotto are two stones taken from the stone upon which Our Lady appeared in Lourdes. The water from the Grotto flows freely over one of these holy relics.

Since its opening (May 30, 1926) thousands of pilgrims from across the country and from Canada have come to honor Our Lady and place their petitions before her. Hundreds of favors, both spiritual and temporal, have been reported as granted.

Today, the Shrine, owned and staffed by the Sisters of the Most Holy Trinity, is available for pilgrims and parish groups to come for prayer and reflections. The Sisters host and conduct retreats and days of recollection as requested.

Our number one charism is to glorify the Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

Our Lady awaits all visitors, come and join us as we pray for each other.

Here is Sister Phyllis Ann's story about her lifelong experience at the Shrine.
