St. Francis of Assisi School

Saint Francis of Assisi School is a community where we learn, love, and serve like Jesus.

St. Francis of Assisi School, a 3-year-old preschool to grade eight school, is centered on our faith.  Students learn about God’s world and what we can do to make it an even better place.  While academics are our core, we see our mission as serving the individual students and their God-given gifts and talents.  As a result, our students help drive our programs, such as the broadcast studio, the sustainability club, the aquaponics area, and service projects. 

Over the past several years, we have made numerous improvements to school security to keep our students and staff safe.  This year, we are asking you to help us update the school emergency kits throughout the school building and the church. We would like to replace every staff member’s emergency kit, as well as the larger kits in the common areas (cafeteria, Fr. Caddy Hall, front hall, back hall, kindergarten hall, and the church).  Each personal kit is $125.  With 60 staff members, the total cost is $7500.  The kits for the common area are $950; the overall cost is $5,700.  If we raise over $13,200 to replace all the kits, the remaining funds will be used to purchase additional security cameras and window film for the classrooms in the kindergarten hallway.  This update benefits families whose children attend St. Francis of Assisi School, are PSR students, and/or participate in CYO Athletics.

While academics are our core, we see our mission as serving the individual students and their God-given gifts and talents.  Differentiation is more than a word at St. Francis.  We strive every day to reach every child.  Toward this goal, we provide specialists in art, music, technology, physical education, enrichment, remedial, and gifted education.  Our classroom teachers are fully certified, but--even more--they are chosen for their vision of guiding academic, social, and spiritual growth.  Beyond our school, we offer students opportunities to serve others through service education.
