St. Edward School has a SMART idea for Giving Tuesday

Most people do not use technology from 17 or18 years ago. Most do not have computers or TVs that are 17 or 18 years old. St. Edward School purchased SMART Boards for each classroom in 2006 and 2007. This technology is outdated. Some of the SMART Boards are no longer interactive and the picture is not high definition. The projection is hard to see unless the lights are turned off. This year we want our Giving Tuesday Funds to be used to replace the 11 old SMART Boards that are not so smart anymore. 

Qualities of the new interactive SMART boards:

High definition 

Able to be used by more than one student at a same time.

Do not require a projector.

Faster than the outdated boards

Contain split screen and picture-in-picture

St.Edward School teachers and students will benefit from replacing the old boards with new interactive boards for use in instruction. 

This year you can actually start donating on November 23rd. Donations won’t show up on the Leader Boards until December 3rd. Please support us with your donation beginning November 23rd through December 3rd by going to wegivecatholic.org, search for St. Edward School, then click "Donate Now". Offline (check or cash) donations are also accepted. If you are not comfortable donating online, you can drop off or mail your donation to the school on or before December 3rd. Please make checks payable to St. Edward School.

Who We Are

St. Edward Catholic School, a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, is a part of St. Edward Parish. St. Edward School welcomes and serves families of all faiths in Ashland and the surrounding counties. We challenge our school family to glorify God through academic excellence, leadership, and service to others as we continue to grow in our faith and live the Gospel message.

Our curriculum and extracurricular activities provide preschool through eighth grade students academic and personal growth that lasts a lifetime.  For over 70 years, we have provided students a foundation that impacts their own lives as well as the lives of their classmates, families, and communities. With each student, we strive to fulfill the principles of our mission statement.
