Saint Frances Xavier Cabrini devoted her life to serving others, especially immigrant children.
She founded the Sacred Heart Orphanage and numerous institutions across the globe including children hospitals to support her mission.  Affectionately known as Mother Cabrini, her legacy of service and devotion to the vulnerable was highly recognized by the Catholic church.  Leading her in 1946 to be the first American saint canonized by the Catholic church thus becoming the patron saint of immigrants.

We are truly honored to continue her legacy and work at Mother Cabrini Food Pantry.  For close to 19 years we have served Lorain community residents and have increased our service to feeding 1300 individuals monthly.   Our volunteers work tirelessly in the rain, sleet, snow and sunshine distributing food.  We are currently trying to raise funds to expand our facility and provide much-needed weather coverage for our volunteers.
