Safe. Secure. Strong.

Our 2025 campaign, Safe. Secure. Strong., focuses on our faith-guided commitment to the safety and security of our students, staff, and campus. As part of our annual security assessment, we have identified our school’s top safety priorities that will help us create a more controlled environment for everyone. These initiatives focus on controlling access, enabling rapid response, and enhancing early warning capabilities, including: 

1. Secured Entry Vestibule: Adding a second set of doors to the main school entrance hallway will require visitors to pass through a two-step checkpoint before gaining access to the main building. 

2. Door Security System: This system enhances entry access management and includes key fobs for all authorized personnel. It will allow us to control, monitor, and instantly change access permissions across exterior doors. 

3. Building-Wide Lockdown System: This system enables the fastest possible response in an emergency situation. Activation buttons in classrooms will allow staff to immediately initiate a full lockdown across campus.

4. Glass Break Sensor System: This system alerts us immediately to forced entry throughout the building, providing a warning to both our safety team and local law enforcement.

Together, these projects total $100,000 in vital security enhancements. If we are blessed to exceed that amount, additional funds will support other safety enhancements identified in our assessment.

In a spirit of faith and unity, our students will come together as one school—one team—one mission. With an individual fundraising goal of $125 per student, and the generosity of matching gifts, we are confident we can reach—and prayerfully surpass—our $100,000 goal.

This year, if we reach our fundraising goal, our Navigators will earn a well-deserved Smooth Sailing Celebration! Students will enjoy a Dress-Down Day and a No-Homework Night before winter break.

Welcome to St. Francis Xavier School, home of the Navigators! Our campus is located in beautiful Medina, Ohio, for students in grades preschool through eighth grade. St. Francis Xavier School is a special place that instills values, faith, leadership, discipline, and respect to help our students develop a strong Catholic foundation for life.
