St. Joseph Parish School, Avon Lake

Saint Joseph Parish School is excited to participate in the 2024 #weGiveCatholic campaign on Tuesday, December 3, 2024.   This annual campaign provides financial assistance to our school to enable us to support our school mission of focusing on the spiritual, academic, and extra-curricular activities to help create disciples who are the hands, voice and heart of Christ.  Last year we raised over $28,000 to purchase student Chromebooks.

This year's initiative hopes to enrich learning opportunities and enhance classroom engagement for our K-8th grade students. The funds raised will bring innovative STEAM programs into our classrooms, integrating iPads and hands-on tools that introduce students to essential skills in coding, robotics, and computer science. Programs like LEGO® Education solutions, Sphero Bolt, and Sphero Minis will foster interactive learning, provide a strong foundation in coding, mathematics, critical thinking. This initiative aims to support collaborative problem-solving, inspire creativity, and build critical-thinking skills, preparing students for a future of learning and growth.
