RENEWING OUR RECTORY

St. Thomas More is scheduling some long-deferred repairs to the rectory building - the home of our parish priests. Included in this renewal is the replacement of the deteriorated garage doors and the second-floor windows.

Just in time, too! November is almost here and with it comes the chills of wintery weather, the homey comfort of the holidays, and the annual #weGiveCatholic campaign.

Please help us raise $30,000 to make improvements to the rectory. New doors and windows will cut drafts, prevent wa ter damage, and provide long-term energy savings.

The rectory is an important place. It is where couples plan weddings. It is where parents prepare for the Baptism of their children. It is where families plan funerals. It is where liturgical calendars are made, events are planned, and records are kept. Most importantly, it is the residence of our pastor, Fr. John and our resident priest, Fr. Don. Let’s make it a home for the holidays!

We Give Catholic is our big fundraising event and all funds generated by this day of giving will be dedicated to much-needed repairs at the Rectory. 

Everyone who contributes between now and midnight December 3 will be entered in a raffle for the following prizes:

Two Grand Prizes

 - $50 Amazon gift card

 - $50 Giant Eagle gift card

Five Second Prizes

 - $20 GetGo gas card

 - $20 Target gift card

 - $20 Coldstone gift card

 - $20 Panera gift card

 - $20 gift card for various restaurants

All donors will be entered in the drawings for these prizes; winners will be contacted by the parish office.

There are also MATCHING GIFTS available for those contributing ONLINE on Tuesday, December 3.

- West Point Wealth Management will match online donations, dollar for dollar, up to a total of $1,000, from 11am to noon on Tuesday.

- Another match is available from the diocese that starts at 2pm on Tuesday. Give $10 to $500 at 2pm and those donations will be matched dollar for dollar up to a total of $25,000.

Prizes for Class Participation (Thank You, PTU!)

Do you have a family member enrolled in the school? From 5pm through 8pm Tuesday, check the "Add a dedication to my donation" box to indicate a the grade number of your student. The class with the most dedicated donations (measured by number of individual donors) gets a pizza party, courtesy of PTU!

And everyone who donates between 5-8pm with a class dedication will be entered in a raffle for gift card prizes – also courtesy of PTU!
