Since 1964, The Village of St. Edward has carried on the vision of the Sisters of St. Dominic — to support and enrich lives through compassionate, Christ-centered care.

What began as a single home for Akron’s aging community has grown into three vibrant campuses in Fairlawn, Green, and Wadsworth, serving nearly 800 residents and families each year.

For sixty years, we’ve been more than a senior living community. We’ve been a family of faith — creating home together.

Our chaplains, visiting clergy, and lay ministers offer Catholic, Protestant, and Orthodox spiritual support, ensuring every resident can nurture their faith. Each community features a beautiful chapel where residents and families can pray, worship, and find peace.
