$50,000 Goal

This Giving Tuesday, support Trinity's Track and Field Program by helping us raise money for a brand new all-weather track at St. Francis Field.

Trinity's Track and Field Program has more student participants than any other sport.  Students of all athletic abilities have an opportunity to participate in a variety of events from high jump to long jump, discus, shot put and running.

Last year, Trinity High School sent 7 athletes from our Track and Field Program to state championships with all 7 athletes placing. Our Track and Field Program has so much potential, and we have so many amazing athletes that would like to compete, but our primary facility must be repaired for our program to continue to grow.

While track practices are still held at St. Francis Field, we are currently unable to host meets as the track is in desperate need of major repair.

The renovation of St. Francis Field could realistically lead to revenue-generation in the future as we'd be able to host more home meets and keep other events in-house.  Overall, this particular project has many potential benefits allowing Trinity High School to continue its legacy beyond our 50 years as a co-educational Catholic School serving student athletes and aiding in character formation along with our consistent academic focus.

The new all-weather track is a priority as our old track has begun to crumble and deteriorate after years of use.  This valuable asset is worthy of our attention thus we seek to invest major funds into renovating St. Francis Field with priority given to the all-weather track that is estimated to cost between $300-500,000.00.  We are working with other donors to make this track a reality and are hoping to raise a portion of the funds this Giving Tuesday to contribute to the overall improvements.

Again, all gifts made during the #weGiveCatholic day of giving on November 28, 2023 will be earmarked for renovation and upgrades to St. Francis Field, a field named after the Sisters of St. Joseph, Third Order of St. Francis.  These sisters founded our beloved school and always found a fitting response to any challenges that arose.  Our current challenge is to continue our track program on a reliable surface for our athletes and we thank you in advance for helping us make this a reality.

Who We Are

Supported by Franciscan values, a rigorous college preparatory curriculum, and the transformational Pre-Professional Internship Program, Trinity High School educates culturally diverse young women and men from all backgrounds to become compassionate servant leaders, critical thinkers, and life-long learners.

Trinity traces its history to 1926 when it opened as St. Joseph Academy, an all-girls school in the Marymount Convent building. In 1936, its name was changed to Marymount High School. By 1956, the student body outgrew the space in the convent and a new building was constructed on the southeast side of campus. Responding to the changing needs of the population traditionally served by the school, the decision was made in 1973 to transform Marymount into the present co-educational Trinity High School. Today, the school continues the mission and Franciscan spirit of its founding order, the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Third Order of St. Francis.

Trinity shares the Marymount Intergenerational Campus with several other entities, carrying out the long-term the vision of the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Third Order of St. Francis. These entities include: Cleveland Clinic Marymount Hospital; The Village at Marymount, an assisted living, skilled nursing, long term and memory care center; Marymount Child Care Center, Marymount Congregational Home; Siena Prints by Catherine Gift Shop; and the Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa.
