The Ursuline Sisters of Cleveland Celebrate 175 Years of Joyful Service!

Since 1850, the Ursuline Sisters of Cleveland have joyfully served the residents of Northeast Ohio as teachers, pastoral ministers, and so much more. Guided by the vision of St. Angela Merici, the Ursulines have been a source of faith, hope, and love for countless students and their families. From classrooms to parish halls, the Ursuline Sisters of Cleveland have led by example, devoting their lives to education, service, and compassion.

Today, our sisters continue to inspire us with their fierce devotion and quiet resilience. Even as they face the challenges of aging, these women continue to care for one another with the same love and selflessness they have shown others throughout their ministry. With quiet tenacity, backed by 175 years of faith, the Ursulines are embracing this new chapter of their lives, gratefully remembering and reflecting on the role you’ve played in their story.
