St. Francis Xavier Church was built by the hands of our own parishioners in 1960. Our kitchen was added in the church basement soon thereafter, and honestly, it hasn't changed much in almost 65 years!

Our active parish of 3,400 families needs a modern, functional commercial kitchen where we can prepare meals for parish gatherings. We need ample counter space for preparing and serving school lunches, Life Teen and confirmation meals, soup nights, Hospitality Sunday donuts and coffee, after-school Latchkey snacks and so much more. An icemaker would save us from hasty trips to the convenience store for bags of ice, and how about a new (and clean!) stove? Then there's the not-so-fun things, like a fire suppression system and new electrical work so we don't blow fuses when we plug in the coffeemaker.

Last year we raised about half the money needed to renovate this important space. We are still getting drawings and quotes for new cabinets, counters, appliances, flooring and more, but we know this project will be quite costly. And yet, it is SO needed.

Our parishioners have always rolled up their sleeves, and we get things done! Let's come together to upgrade our kitchen into a modern and functional space that will serve us for decades to come.

Thank you for your support!
