St. John Bosco Church

Unlike Fr. Matt, Fr. Workman loves to garden.  Under his supervision, and with the help of the guys from KPM, we cleaned up the rather overgrown garden in front of the Church.  In the coming years, when the shrubs and flowers sprout, this space will be captivating.  However, once those huge pine trees were taken down, the age and wear of our patron's statue became very visible.  To that end, we are hoping to finish our entry-way renovation by giving some necessary care to the statue (cleaning and polishing) as well as its base (replacing chipped stone and leveling the bricks surrounding it).  

Once someone walks into the Church, they are captivated by the beauty of our assembly; let's make sure that their first impression (our entry facade) is also impressive!

If we exceed this year's goal, surplus funds will be earmarked to one day modernize the sign on Pearl Road.

Who We Are

Since 1963, Saint John Bosco Parish Community has been proclaiming the power and presence of Jesus Christ in Parma Heights, Brook Park, and the surrounding areas. This great parish serves as the spiritual oasis for over 1,700 households, 4,500 members, who call it home.

The location of our parish grounds, along the Cleveland MetroParks, provide a beautiful setting for prayer, reflection, communion, and Christian service. Our Eucharistic Adoration Chapel, which is open twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, is a "powerhouse of prayer" in the midst of the community.

A defining trait of St. John Bosco Parish is the authentic welcome that our parishioners and visitors receive week in and week out.  Nobody can deny the warmth of this community.  It is our hope that our landscape and visual aesthetic can match the attitude of the people who fill this Church.
