Jennings

For 80 years, Jennings has offered Catholic-based care and vibrant residences to older adults and families in Northeast Ohio. With locations in Brecksville, Chardon, Garfield Heights and Shaker Heights, Jennings serves more than 1,500 individuals annually. 

Residents at Jennings enjoy a robust range of programs and offerings. There are opportunities to explore hobbies like art, gardening and cooking; go on trips to local sporting events, theater shows and wineries; engage in lifelong learning and spiritual study; and gather for live music or happy hours with peers. Residents can also spend time with  younger generations by participating in intergenerational programing.

Jennings welcomes children and students of all ages to participate in intergenerational programs with residents. Student groups and little ones in our own child care center may enjoy creative programs such as music and art, or curriculum appropriate education. We also welcome high school and college students for opportunities such as mentorship focused engagement, sharing talents, trades like cosmetology, or community health hours. 

Jennings' intergenerational programs nourish the enduring values of faith, family and home in the minds, hearts and souls of everyone at Jennings. Intentionally uniting the generations helps to enrich participants lives, addresses vital social and community issues and builds greater understanding and respect between young and old. This program helps create the warmth of home for those living here and helps build a world that values and engages all generations.
