$45,000 Goal

This year we will be raising money to increase our safety and security in our parish and school.  Currently, we have 16 cameras in our school that were installed in 2012. Our plan is to increase the number of cameras to 56 in and around the school and parish. We would like to add cameras to places where we did not have them before such as the parking lot, school gym, and O’Brien Hall. The current cameras only show footage in the direction they are aimed. Our new cameras will be strategically placed and some will have a 360-degree camera reach.

In addition, the resolution will be greater, offering a more clear picture. These new cameras will also feature Artificial Intelligence which can distinguish faces even better. The cameras will be connected to our network and internet; all of the video resides in the cloud so it will be able to be accessed by any device, including access by the Highland Heights Police Department. The new system has the capability to provide three months of storage so that video content will be archived. They also will be able to scan license plates on vehicles.

The total cost for the school and parish project is nearly $100,000.  Our goal for WeGiveCatholic this year is $45,000 to cover half of the cost. Last year in 2022 we were able to raise just over $35,000 to paint the school hallways.#SPBProud

We are so grateful to the parishioners and school families who gave so generously last year.  Thank you so much for giving to Saint Paschal Baylon Catholic School on Tuesday, November 28th.  We appreciate your continued support of our school and parish community!
