St. Mark Parish

Something beautiful is happening at St. Mark Parish. Our sanctuary—the sacred space where we gather each week to worship—is being lovingly renovated. New lighting has already illuminated our prayers. Restored beauty will lift our hearts. Fresh paint will renew our spirits. But as we invest in this place of worship, we're reminded of a profound truth: Christ calls us not only to gather in His name, but to serve Him in the poor. 

That's why we've made a commitment: For every dollar we spend beautifying our sanctuary, we'll give 10% to those who have less than us

Our Goal: $16,620

Our sanctuary renovation will cost $166,620. We're pledging to raise 10% of that amount - $16,620 - to support the West Side Catholic Center, an organization that serves our community's most vulnerable neighbors.

Every day, the West Side Catholic Center provides:

· Hot meals to the hungry

· Food distributions for struggling families

· Clothing and household essentials

· Street outreach to the homeless  

· Advocacy and support services

· Substance abuse assessments

· Expressive arts programs that bring dignity and hope

While we prepare to worship in beauty, they provide beauty to those in despair.

St. Mark Has Always Served

Caring for those in need isn't new to St. Mark Parish—it's who we are. For generations, our community has answered Christ's call to love our neighbors, especially those who are struggling. This campaign is a continuation of that sacred tradition.

On December 2nd, We Give Catholic Day, we're asking every member of our parish family and the larger community to give what they can. Whether it's $10 or $1,000, every gift matters. Every donation makes a difference in someone's life.

Imagine: while we're admiring our renewed sanctuary, a homeless person will have a warm meal. While we're kneeling in our beautiful church, someone in crisis will receive help. While we're gathering in comfort, someone will find hope.
