We still encounter people every day who are surprised by the rich history of the Jesuit Retreat Center. Founded by Jesuits from Saint Ignatius College in 1898, what was then known as Saint Stanislaus Novitiate used to bear the name of the patron saint of Jesuit Novices. Since its founding, JRC has been influential in the spiritual formation of generations of men and women, including those discerning a vocation to religious life. Today, we're proud to serve thousands of people, from all walks of life, who are seeking an encounter with God's love and grace.
This Giving Tuesday, we’re thrilled to announce a unique opportunity to help preserve and renew this remarkable legacy.
Every dollar you donate will be matched by Milano Monuments up to $20,000 today — doubling the impact of your contribution. Your support will go directly toward the restoration and re-installation of the statue that stood proudly in front of the original entrance of the JRC. With your help, we’ll create a stunning new installation at the front of our property to honor over 125 years of sharing Ignatian Spirituality and inspire all who visit the Jesuit Retreat Center.
