I invite your family to join me in this year's #weGIVECATHOLIC annual diocesan fundraising day. Every year on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, monies are raised for non-profit causes.
Over the last several years, breakdowns with our building's boiler heating system have been increasing. Several of the mechanisms and much of the structure of the system were original to the building, dating to the early 1960s. Over the course of the last summer, the boiler system and thermostatic controls have been replaced with a 98% efficiency-rated system. This new system can now be set to work with a thermostat, whereas the old system was either "on" or "off." We definitely got our money's worth out of the old system!
The cost of this project is $467,000. We have raised $195,000 to date, and the goal is for the parish to pay the balance of $272,000 in full over the next five years. It would be great if our parish could raise $22,000 (or more!!) toward this investment in our parish buildings.
