Dear Seventh Grade Families,
Mrs. Cohara’s and Mrs. Scullion's homerooms are excited to turn the post-Christmas blues into the funniest, wackiest week of the school year—and help us crush our #weGiveCatholic goal at the same time!
#weGiveCatholic is the Diocese of Cleveland’s annual day of giving, designed to support Catholic schools, parishes, and ministries, helping them grow in faith, community, and learning.
We are joining the school-wide #weGiveCatholic effort to beautify and enhance St. Barnabas School, raising funds for projects that will impact every student, including a new Carlo Acutis statue, beautiful Catholic artwork, and upgraded learning spaces.
Together, if we reach our combined goal of $4,000, all seventh-grade students will earn a Wacky Winter Week. From Monday, February 9th – Thursday, February 12th, four epic dress-down themed days that will have your kids begging to get out of bed and come to school, and if either of our classes wins the entire school challenge, they get to pie Mr. Seislove in the face! 🥧
- Monday, Feb. 9th - Sports Mania Monday - Wear any sports jersey (pro, college, high school) over uniform pants/skirt, plus knee-high socks, eye black, and foam fingers.
- Tuesday, Feb. 10th - Tourist Tuesday - Hawaiian shirt + winter hat + fanny pack + giant camera + map. Think full dad-on-vacation energy in February.
- Wednesday, Feb. 11th - Wild Wednesday Winter Hat Day - Biggest, goofiest, tallest hats allowed. Think shark fins, cowboy hats, and 10-pound furry ushankas!
- Thursday, Feb. 12th - Cozy Cabin Day (Flannel Overload) - Flannel shirts, flannel fleece pants, trapper hats, and scarves—basically dress like you’re hibernating in a log cabin…we will all also enjoy a warm cup of soup!
