Mrs. Garey's students are excited to join #weGiveCatholic on Giving Tuesday! #weGiveCatholic is the Diocese of Cleveland’s annual day of giving, designed to support Catholic schools, parishes, and ministries, helping them grow in faith, community, and learning.
Fifth grade is focusing on parts of the Mass and a more in-depth understanding of the Sacraments in Religion. Fifth grade also enjoyed going to Camp and experiencing Mass outdoors. We are also finishing up DARE.
This #weGiveCatholic, they are joining the school-wide effort to beautify and enhance St. Barnabas School, raising funds for projects that will impact every student, including a new Carlo Acutis statue, beautiful Catholic artwork, and upgraded learning spaces.
We’re excited to take part in this special day of giving and can’t wait to see how much our class can raise! If we reach our goal of $2,000, we’ll celebrate with a movie and popcorn, and if our class wins the entire school challenge, we get to pie Mr. Seislove in the face!
