Mrs. Hamm's 2nd-grade students are excited to join #weGiveCatholic on Giving Tuesday! We Give Catholic is the Diocese of Cleveland’s annual day of giving, designed to support Catholic schools, parishes, and ministries, helping them grow in faith, community, and learning.
Second grade is an important year in a future Saint's development. In addition to academics, in room 109, we stress the importance of "Being the kind kid" and treating others the way we want to be treated. This ties in nicely with our sacramental prep, which is a big part of our Religion curriculum this year. The children are preparing to make their 1st Reconciliation and 1st Holy Communion in the spring. So you see, room 109 is all about growing big, beautiful brains and kind, faith-filled hearts!
This #weGiveCatholic, we are joining the school-wide effort to beautify and enhance St. Barnabas School, raising funds for projects that will impact every student, including a new Carlo Acutis statue, beautiful Catholic artwork, and upgraded learning spaces.
We are excited to take part in this special day of giving and can’t wait to see how much our class can raise! If we reach our goal of $2,000, we’ll celebrate with a pajama, movie, and popcorn party! If our class wins the entire school challenge, we get to pie Mr. Seislove in the face! 🥧
💙 Every gift counts! Please share with your friends and family and help us make St. Barnabas shine!
Thank you for your support!
